The underwear is to keep it G-rated. Without undies, everyone would be running around naked. ;)

It's just like being a knight ... only different because we're aurors. Mostly it's about watching to make sure everything is OK. (No flaming, no racy stuff, no Internet predators.) Just keep your eyes open. :)

Kristin hands out undies to the new aurors and dons a sneakoscope pair herself. :D

Gang, this only EVENTUALLY became a place to get cool Auror Undies (tm) ! ;) Originally we had to take an oath to keep the MI a safe place to post, remember? Keep out trolls, try to make sure no flame wars got started, pour water on the flames if the discussion got out of hand, etc. Don't recall the words, but the old Knights of Imladris had to do the same. I was one of them too, BloodFire - they exchange secret handshake good to see you!

So yes, I would take oath again to protect the posters of the MI from trolls, though I suspect our mods do most of the work these days.
