If you're anything like me, you love to SHOP!
I am addited, I shop online and in town and everywhere! But I always find myself dying to tell others about what I have bought!
So post here if you ever buy anything interesting!
Today I bought :
Two Towers poster!
Wonder Woman Cup for Martha
Some wool to make a scarf for Hannah
and some f..*cough* something for Remus ;)

Hahaha Fleur ;)
I really can't stand Christmas shopping, but that's usually because the crowds you get in town really scare and annoy me, which means the last thing I want to do is spend a minute longer there than I have to. But today was pretty productive. I got:
Faulty Towers DVD for my Dad
Best of Have I got News for You DVD for my Mum
Mog books for my cousins
I haven't got presents for my friends or my sister - but they're being bought very soon ;)

Except for shopping. I HATE shopping. Spent all day yesterday at the mall with my parents. The 3 hours or so I actually got to "shop" by myself, I spent in Borders drooling over Tolkien stuff.
Shopping is evil.
I'm done with all my Christmas shopping! I don't have to go back to the mall for MONTHS!
Yay!
I got...
a sweater for my dad and another for my brother (A)
Mango body lotion from Bath and Body works for my sister-in-law (wife of brother B)
The Josh Groban CD for my mom
Lilo & Stitch for my cousin
Monsters, Inc for my other cousin, her sister
This nifty gadget-y keychain type thing for my other brother(B), with a built in compass and something else.
Blue pajamas covered in rubber duckies for my brother's (A) fiancee

I might get my parents something.... Like a revenge attack, yes, that'd be fantastic... Shall I hide my mum's We Will Rock You tickets (lol no, I want to go...) or hide my dad's car keys then give them to him on Christmas day, and hide my mum's Freddy Mercury album... Haha, she'd love that...

Anyone know where I can find a big flat box? My friend said she wanted either Will Young, David Beckham, David Borenaz or Orlando Bloom in a box. So I thought I'd get a poster of one of them, and put it in... But where do you find flat boxes?...
Colli

My mom's a teacher... and whenever she orders posters and stuff for her wall, they send it in a big flat box.
I don't know how that helps you, but.. ;)
OOHH! Pericles is on Hercules right now! ... I'm getting way too into this Greek Mythology.
(edit) Or you could buy one of those Legolas action figures. They come in boxes. ;)

Great gifts, everyone! I'm sure your recipients will love them! :)
My funds are quite limited this year (in fact, I've already overdrawn my account once! :o oops), so I'll be getting my friends funny gag gifts as opposed to something sentimental. Hope they won't mind...
Anyway, here's what I've got in mind (tell me what you think!):
- For my best friend Sam - a "Sex in the City" dictionary, because she's obsessed with that show
- For my friend Maia - a rubber duckie with a Union Jack pattern, because she's a rubber-duck lovin' anglophile
- For my friend Casey - a "Buddy Christ" bobbing-head dashboard figurine, 'cause she's a "reformed Catholic"
- For my friend Mike - one of those multicolored beanies, ya know, the hats with the spinny thing at the top... for my own peverse amusement :D
- For my boyfriend - a drawing of the two of us, done by moi, in a nice frame
That's all I've got so far. Whaddya think? Good?

 no they arent - that is what makes it so funny:rolleyes:
Seriously it was what they wanted, I just asked who wanted to go and as TTT opens here the day after christmas , it seemed a logical way to go. We make it a day out as they live a 100 miles from nearest cinema and I work right next door to one

LOL amb! I was telling someone about your shopping today... my best friend Abby and I were walking around Walmart trying to find a gift I could get for our other friend, Casey, and I was saying how much easier it would be if she liked Tolkien. ;) I was tempted to buy her The Hobbit but I wanted to get her a gift she'd actually use. :p
I think she's afraid of what Tolkien's done to me... ;)
*bursts with excitement*

I used to have this dice with said like "vacuum clean", "wash dishes", "have a beer"
I could have gotten tickets for me and my NON-Tolkine/LotR interested friends, but I know they wouldn't have appriciated it at all... they didn't even want to see TTT cause it's "too scary"...
So they're getting teddy flowers instead :D

My friend Mia LOVES lotr, but she is petrified of the Orcs! lol it's so funny, I first watched FotR at her houe in the summer (dont kill me! I was broke last December! Still am actually! lol) and not only was there a fierce thunderstorm outside (she's scared of them too) but she was screaming at the Orcs to go away! She's also scared of the Black Riders, and she sits under a poster of them in English class! lol Its so funny! :D

I'm intrigued... What are Teddy Flowers?
My best friend's grandad died the other day. She is going up to Darlington for the funeral on tuesday, and I bought her a black jewled cross necklace to wear. It cost a bomb but I felt so helpless, but there's really nothing you can do when somebody dies. :(
OMG! TTT IN THREE DAYS!
Anyone ever recieved a really rubbish present, or got one they already had?
Hmmm last year somebosy bought me some green Ruby and Millie eye shadow that I already had! and the cost nine pounds as well! eek!

Erm... Teddy flowers, that's only name I made up... flowers made of "teddy" - like teddy bears?
:p
I've got one present already- plane tickets :) But that was something I hadn't before :p
My grandma keeps calling me and asking me what I want for present, and I keep telling her that I don't know and I don't need presents and she's really starting to get on my nerves  :(
{{{hugs to Fleurs friend}}}
My grandpa died this year. :( We found it out on my birthday.
