I don't know if I can change the colors for specific forums yet. I new to the control panel. Does anyone have a page from the old MI saved on their hard drive in html format so I could know what the color codes were?

Looking good IMHO, but the CoE banner and support the site dealy have the blue thingy. I'm guessing that can't be changed though, ah well. :)

That can be changed. I just have to make new graphics. Haven't got to that. This isn't exactly the same green as before, but I don't know the color code for what it was before.

I can change it as long as it's okay with Melk. (he won't let me make the Pony pink. bah! ;) :D)

Yeah, it's okay I guess, but I think it could be tad lighter, if that's possible anyway.

Looks nice though, really gives the forest type feel, which is what the other one felt like

But green looks ok, it was a bit of a shock to come check Cauldron and find it suddenly green. But I SO agree with the "at least it's not that yellowish thing" I know you ALL thought ;) :D

I think that's the code I used first and it just looked so bright. I did look at the code one time and I remember that it was not one of the basic color codes that you generally find on color charts. Just like the blues on the rest of the board are not found on color charts. They're a shade somewhere between two of them.

I did tone down the yellow links a bit over here so they didn't slap me in the face when I saw them against the green. ;) :)

The Avatar change was done to save Bandwidth, as we were rapidly running overbudget ( we had used in one week our allocation for half of the month)

Since then we have been allowed to upgrade our bandwidth, so this may be reversed

I was not aware people were unable to change their titles

Will check and get back to you

I just want to say, I love the newest colors here. :notworthy Very easy on the eyes and it looks nice, too. I hope it stays. :)

Edit: Does anybody know why the colors would look different on a Mac? I know that Macs display lighter than PCs. And that seems to be the case for the blue (looks lighter at home on the Mac, darker at work on PC). But the MI colors look totally different when I'm on the Mac! :confused:

You are a "victim" of the band width issue as well Ced

The powers that be worked out that we are still having problems with people just registering and posting once, getting an avatar and then and a custom title and we never see them again. They discovered this is using up bandwidth at a faster rate than expected so have upped the requirements to do both custom avatars and custom titles.

It is now set at 50 posts and 100 days registered

Sorry you got caught out - It was not meant to disadvantage a regular poster :o

I've gotta say I'm really diggin' the new header, very good idea from whoever came up with it :)

But I think there's a lot of extra space up there, seems like the owl is hangin' up there all by himself.... Think it's possible to maybe srink the room around it, or making the header bigger, like by adding more to it?

You can turn it purple if you prefer. Go to your profile to Edit Options. Go to the bottom to "Styleset." It's right above where you change your avatar. Change the whole C-o-E to purple there. Won't look exactly the same as home, because you won't have your purple buttons, etc., but it should look pretty close. :)

With one major exception

In the LC at least there will be a no violence rule.
Topics such as the battle arena will not be tolerated

What will I have to do or wait for to change it again?
