:trout: I almost voted for James! :p ;) There has to be something to him.. and he died trying to save his son. That kind of expression of love (as in The Scarlet Pimpernel) is AWESOME to me.. and I couldn't NOT like a character like that. :swoon:

Definately James. I had a hard time deciding between Sirius and James, but I remember in PoA when Sirius was talking about bringing Snape to Remus - it was James who stopped them, and saved Snape's life. Sirius didnt, Remus didn't, and neither did Peter.

I like that characteristic, and it was the determining factor for me. Besides, I like Harry, and like Father, like Son....(at least, hairwise, Quidditch wise, etc).

It was a tough decision between Sirius, Remus, and James (:rolleyes: ), and I don't even know why I did pick Sirius over the other two. I had to pick someone, might as well have been him :p

When I read POA I really enjoyed reading the sequences with Lupin. Although due to some late night thinking I voted for Sirius *swoons* although he may be a little rough on the sides, deep down he really wants a hug (hopefully from me):p

Has to be Remus for me! I expect to get trouted, but I never particularly liked Sirius - don't get me wrong, I'm sad for Harry's sake - just not so much for my own. He's never really grown up properly to my eyes. James is handicapped by being dead. We don't get to see him interacting with Harry - which is the thing which gives Remus so much lovability, and Sirius too for those who voted for him, I dare say!

I love Sirius! I cannot wait to see him again in the next film. I am excited to see him as padfoot with a "sweet disposition." I don't know what is about Sirius- he is loyal, yet reckless, and passionate all at the same time. As much as I like Lupin and admire James---this was not a hard question, there is just something about that Sirius Black.

And, yeah, Peter had no chance, the little weasel!

What I love about Lupin is that he is so complex. Fiercely intelligent, yet he often goes against his better judgment for the sake of his friends. Compassionate and kind-hearted, yet with a dark side (which we only get the faintest glimpse of.) Effortlessly competent, yet often doubted by himself and others because of what he is. Strong yet humble. World-weary yet retaining a sense of optimism. Cultured, yet with an uncontrollable wild side....

And of course, he has a certain animal magnetism. ;) :D

I completely agree with everything Lorien said (Hi Lor :wave: ), but I wish they had chosen a different actor in the movie. I guess I was looking for a different kind of animal magnetism, if you know what I mean. ;)

Just going by the book I would have picked him, but this is the movie forum, so I picked James. An older version of Harry seems pretty good to me!

As for James I didnt lke the few glimpses of him at all. funny that bugged me but he looked far too old and I didnt like his side whiskers :eek:

I voted for Sirius, but I thought it was a very tough question. I was having a tough time picking between Sirius and James. I loved the "Snape's Worst Memory" Chapter in HP#5.... and I loved how it described James showing off by ruffling his hair and catching the snitch. I also really like Lupin.....ahhh, such a tough question.....

(However if this is just based on the movies so far, I have to say Sirius...)
