I think we did different boards or somat. That sounds awful though. But remember! You alwys get marks if you use the right method even if you get it wrong, so don't worry too much.

I'll use Hogwarts as an example much easier :)

Our colleges are sometimes known as 6th form colleges, Hogwarts has one ;) And thats when compulsary education end, at age 16. Our GCSES (or OWLS in the wizarding world, lol) We need GCSES to get into College, and in College we need A-Levels to get into University.

Hogwarts is slightly different, they have OWLS (GCSES) and NEWTS (A-Levels) but they've got a college added in, because everyone seems to leave at 18.

When you're 13, you choose what subjects do do for GCSES. Not all schools do a variety of GCSES (Fleur has done Philosphy and dance... I think! dont kill me ;) ) and I chose Art and History (history is evil... been revising Lenin and Hitler all day...)

I hope that's explained it for you, probaly made no sense...

At College yeah, you're there for two years and can choose any subject you want (no more maths!!) I'm doing English Litrature and Language, Fine Art, Textiles, and Media Studies :)

In University, you do your degrees and things, dont know much about that, but I'm taking a year out after college to go back packing in Australia (maybe less then a year...) should be fun! :D

Yeah Fleur has explained it pretty well. Some subjects are compulsory for gcses, others you can chose. (WHY they made us do Statistics I'll never know

I chose German, Music and Dance for my options, plus a Philosophy and Ethics AS level - AS levels are half an A level.

I'm doing the AS a year early though. Next year at college I'm doing double performing arts, Music and English Literature!
I think Sixth form college is basically to help you sort out what you want to do with your life.. university or go straight into employment.

There's one at Schnoogle.com that I WOULD link to, but as the fic is most likely rated PG-13 (I can't remember exactly), I can't. So I'll just tell you that the name of the fic is Draco Malfoy, the Amazing Bouncing... Rat? by Maya. It turns Draco/Hermione during the last five or so chapters, before that it's mainly Draco/Coffee. It's very funny.

Those jackets existed in the nineties. They were in the thrift shop, cause no one wanted them. But yeah, the flannels of the previous two movies were more realistic for the nineties, though not the early nineties as they weren't popular yet. But I really don't want to see a lot of those fashions ever coming back, so updating the wardrobe is fine. And I never would've known they were expensive clothes unless I was told. Ahh, thought you might say that, actually! Some of the Aboriginal stuff is certainly quite impressive.. we actually have a didgeridoo for sale at our shop, though no-one has ever seemed that interested in buying it. I haven't actually gotten the chance to see all the old cave paintings and so on, but I'd like to do that someday: that's about as old as history gets around here! :)

Sure Emma Watson looks nice in a skirt but has she made the character of Hermione come to life? When you look at Emma Watson’s performance in the films do you think “Watching Emma is like watching Hermione” In an interview with the trio Emma stated “She is rock & roll, girl power” Hello? Have you read the books? Hermione does not prance around with her “Girl Power” button on. She is the insecure big bushy pile of hair with the buck teeth hiding under a book. Her character is not confident with herself or very assertive which obviously means she cannot possibly be a “rock & roll chick”. Have you ever seen Hermione make feminist comments? Or try to prove her gender is better? No! So obviously she cannot be a dreaded “girl power chick” Therefore her way of approaching the character of Hermione is not the way she should be approaching the character. Sure she may look good in a skirt, but her performance is based off the wrong character analysis.

Not to mention she has turned my guy friends into gaping idiots!
