Palmer's Green Trip

Place: Palmers Green, suburb of London
Why?
Filming scenes there, possibly Mangolia Cresent (we hope - when Harry gets in Knight Bus) (news on the front page linked me here (http://www.thisislocallondon.co.uk/news/display.var.704381.Top+Stories.hogwarts_goblins_an d_wizardry_in_palmers_green.html))

The pics that have been going around about Mangolia Cresent are taken in daylight - the extra bits (without actors, btw) were filmed in daylight.

Now, Mangolia Cresent scenes happen to be night scenes... ;) As will the filming on Palmers Green be. :p

And what they filmed on Borough Market was Knight Bus arriving to Leaky Cauldron. So, they possibly haven't filmed Harry entering Knight Bus ;)

So, I'm just updating that I got traintickets and will be meeting glaelia on 1st and leaving her on 2nd... we're about to t00b a lot, as you could see from our first field trip ;)

And, did I tell you... my train leaves at 6am! :eek: I think if we go to see any movie, I'll fall asleep. :o

Sorry for the double post, but here it comes - our trip update! :D

I left from Bangor at 6.16am train, it was all windy and rainy. And I was daring and thought that not a single stalker is outside in this weather and took the short cut to the train station. :eek: No stalkers. Train journey was boring, but in the end glae texted me that she would meet me at Euston around 10am. Well, I got on Euston on time, t00bed around, waiting glae. Got myself to King's Cross cause I got bored waiting. Then around 12.30 she texts me "meet me at Palmers Green." So, via three different trains, I finally ended up to Palmers Green (three different trains from King's Cross, that is.)

So, eventually we met at Palmers Green. Wah! glaelia much much fun. We walked our way to the Hedge Street, which was the street to be shut down, looking for suspicious looking trucks and stuff. And walked back, trying to find the Fox pub, by which they said the Knight bus was supposed to be parked. And what did we suddenly see:

g: Look! Purple! It's the Knight Bus!
E: Two KNIGHT BUSSES!!!
And we went WHEEEEE! And kept going Whee! even if we tried not to be fangirlish.
Hanged out in the rain for three hours, looking at people staring the busses, took loads of pictures, talked to people - everyone in general wanted to tell what they knew! (gah. I really don't have time to write all down!)

glaelia had to go to work, I went to have lunch with a nice girl we met t00bing around the busses. Then we went to Hedge Street and saw filming. There were loads of people first, and they were causing bit problems to the security I think.

No actors present, but I saw Harry's douple, the man who drove the buss and Ernie (I don't believe they have double for Ernie... why would they?)
