Ok ok... another movie I'm following solely due to the cast. The movie is actually ten different stories which unfold in the two months leading up to Christmas Day. It stars (get this):
Laura Linney
Liam Neeson
Martine McCutcheon
Hugh Grant (he plays the British PM)
Emma Thompson (she plays his sister)
Alan Rickman
Colin Firth
Rowan Atkinson
Martin Freeman
Keira Knightley
Andrew Lincoln
Rory MacGregor
Heike Makatsch
Chris Marshall
Bill Nighy
Rodrigo Santoro

I can't honestly imagine who WOULDN'T want to see this movie. ;)
Here's a better summary of the story: This ensemble comedy tells ten separate (but intertwining) stories of love in London (with a small portion set in France), leading up to a big climax on Christmas Eve. One of the threads follows the brand new (unmarried) Prime Minister (Grant) of the United Kingdom, who on his first day in 10 Downing Street falls in love with the girl (McCutcheon) who brings him his tea (Thompson plays his sister; Rickman plays her husband). Another story follows the relationship between a stepfather (Neeson) and his young stepson.

I don't really know if I can handle Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, and Alan Rickman all in one movie.

On location in France:

Yeah FleurD.. it's completely British. Which absolutely BAFFLES me as to why it's released here first!

I agree glae... great cast. :D

Looking forward to seeing Alan and Emma paired as husband and wife. ;) I haven't seen them together in a movie since Sense and Sensibility.. and then Alan was going after Emma's sister. :D

That really is some cast

Liam Neeson is amazing :D

It will be interesting to see Hugh Grant as the Prime Minister lol Or should that be interesting to see the PM with Hugh Grant's usual character ;)

You mean an awkward prime minister with floppy hair who hates kids and can't seem to stop blinking?

Yes, ok, I see what you mean. ;)

Not so, sirius. HP is made by Warner Brothers... American if I think correctly. Directed by Chris Columbus, American. (Even if his name's Italian. ;)) Even the style of the movie was American (which was highly disputed a year or so ago, but now that I've seen a few British movies I can be happy to say that HP is completely American style). "BBC" appears no where if I'm not wrong. Just the actors are British. :D

And I'm not saying it won't get released here, I'm saying it won't show in my local theater. ;)

Yes, HP is terriblely American ;) I'm alloud to say that, I like Brit flicks and Amelie... :p

Oh I don't get it... It's soo annoying! Can't we make the Americans wait for once!? ;)
