I found this quote in PoA it was made by Dumbledore.'I will only truly have left this school when none here are loyal to me...Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it.'Is it just me or is Dumbledore somehow sensing that Harry is there and telling him all this? please write cause i'm confused

I don't remember that quote in PoA, but maybe I missed it. It does sound a lot like the speech Dumbledore gave to Harry in CoS movie; and there I think, yes, he did know Harry was there when he spoke it...There's a thread in Lit for all questions you may have, called Questions! that particular quote is i believe is actually from cos, and occurs when dumbledore is being told of his suspension by the governers in hagrids hut. hagrid and fudge are there, and harry and ron are hidden under the invisibility cloak. harry's given reason to believe dumbledore can 'see through' invisibility cloaks as it were during PS and the mirror of erised scenes... in effect yes, dumbledore knows the boys are there and says those lines for their (or harry's) benefit.

at least that's my impression :D

I think Harry asked him when Dumbledore is planning on leaving...:confused: but what do i know?
