I think, Back on the old ancient forums we had a thread about dreams.

Recently, I've had really disturbing dreams. The most disturbing last night. However it could be the reprecussions of watching Six Feet Under ;)

Well, I was in a farm place, and this farmer had lots of people in a pen, and he was going to kill them. I was standing by numbly, just not thinking about what this farmer was doing to these people. Then I saw my oldest friend Ciara in the pen. I ran over to her and said my goodbyes. I went back to where I was standing, and then went all numb as if no farmer was killing anyone. Then I saw Ciara walk up to te stand to where she was going to be shot, and I then reilised he was going to kill her. I started to sop insanely, and tried to run to her but someone was holding me back, I was calling out to her to get out, because the farmer was going to kill her. I woke up tears running down my face...

What the hell does that mean? :confused:

I like dreams...I used to hate them when I was younger, but now I'm able to wake myself up from them if I want to, which also means I don't have sleep paralysis problems, and I can almost sort of watch from afar when I dream now. Only problem? I can't remember them...a few hours later I try, and I'm grasping at straws...Has anyone ever read It? It's like that, just forgetting something that seemed important. Does anyone know what I mean or am I just weird? ;)

I know exactly what you mean Rivenlas! Or you suddenly remember your dream half way through the day! I just remembered (really just this second) that I did a search on Google for a Leaver's Ball gown, and I was going to see what colour would suit my tone of skin... Very weird. Dreaming about search engines cannot be healthy!

That's so cool severus I've always wanted to do that! It must be really interesting reading them now. I think it must be really useful, especially to compare them to things that have happened in your life. I believe that dreams hold deep meanings for us!

:hug: Fleur, it was most probably just exam stress and stuff. It sounds so awful though. I had a horrible dream the other day, Me and my friend Martha got trapped in the cinema with all these really dodgy people, and when we finally escaped and were running down the road a policeman hit martha on the head with his baton thing and dragged her off - and I didn't have the strength to do anything. I felt so helpless and I knew he was going to hurt her. I've had prophetic dreams before so i was really scared when I woke up and rang her straight away.

Dreaming about search engines? hahah I think you're spending a little too much time online!

It's not really a them but more of an it... I've incorporated the events of my dreams into a full length story. :)

I keep a dream journal, but only for the really odd and interesting ones. Or..the ones I can remember :D

Have you ever been dreaming and a sound or loud noise breaks into your dream?

For example, I was speaking to someone in my dream and they opened their mouth to respond and all that came out was a loud beeping. When I woke up it was my alarm. LOL!

:):) I had a dream last night about these wierd mutant harmless but for some wierd reason scary Harry Potter creatures (they looked like mutant house elfs) I was in my dads house which looked like a haunted castle and was made up of a bridge at the bottom and a very thin staircase with one room at the top with creepy hollow floors... my stepmom was the only one that looked the same.

The week before the new Matrix opened, I had three (yes, three!:rolleyes: ) dreams about it. The first one involved being bored and making celery sandwiches. 2 hours into the movie, there was still no action and they hadn't left Zion. I was looking at my watch going: 'This better be a three hour movie, and they'd better start kicking some ass soon!'. The second one I forget, and the third one was like a LOTR videogame crossover and I was inside it and there was this huuuuge coliseum/stonehenge thing, and all the ground was sloped and geometric and texture-mapped. And covered in orcs!:D And I don't even play videogames! And I wasn't looking forward to the movie that much!

My dreams seem to fall into a pattern: What's most on my mind I don't ever dream about, but the less important things always pop up in dreams. Go figure.

And I often sleep through the radio news when the alarm goes off, so sometimes the news blends with my dreams, and I wake up and can't tell where the truth ends and my dreams begin. VERY weird feeling! Kinda fun though.:D

this is quite strange; whenever I set an alarm I always wake up two or three minutes before it goes off. But If I don't set an alarm I'll over sleep by half an hour or something. Does anyone else get that?

I had dreams for about a week that I went to Hogwarts. And each time I was somehow invovled with Ron. In the one, apparently I disapeared from Hogwarts and I arrived and everyone was saying "shes back? Is it really her?" and Im looking around for Harry Hermione and Ron. When I run into Neville, he takes me to them. Their on a stair well, and I run up to them. It was as if they hadn't seen me in years,we had a little happy reunion right there on the stairs. And then I kiss Ron, and I hear a first or second year ask "whats with them?" i hear Neville respond "They have a history..." And they show me back to the common room. It was a strange but good dream :)

Oh I do that! Exept, I fall asleep with the radio on, and when my actual alarm goes off, and I push sleep, and actually sleep, my dream can be anything from concrete blocks around my bed, to sliding down a firemen's pole with Chris Tarrent! :p

Oh I did that once too Sevvie. Exept, not a whole book. I type up my really vivid dreams, and one of them I reckon would make a really good sci-fi/romance :p

Robert Louis Stevensen (is that his name.. dont trout me if its wrong!) got the idea for either (I cant quite remember... it was a question on who wants to be a millionaire!) Treasure Island or Robinson Crusoe from a dream :)

I write down my really bizarre dreams too. Haven't incorporated any into any stories, but I'll have to try it sometime. Has anyone ever gotten prophetic dreams? I've had two that have come true; of which came true like a year after I had it, and another came true in a less direct way. Makes me wonder if anything else will come true. But I'd actually rather it didn't because I don't want to be trying to make it happen, or dwelling on it. Of course, then I have dreams directly contradicting other dreams, so they cancel each other out, right?

I've had prophetic dreams. Nothing major, but when I was in school I really liked this guy, but I'd never spoken to him before. I dreamt that he came up to me and started a conversation and the next day it actually happened. For a few months I had quite a few dreams predicting similarly trivial things.

I used to have really disturbing dreams like yours Fleur when I was about 15/16, except it was me that nearly got killed in them. They were really scary. One was a bit like you described; there was a group of us being rounded up by some men with guns in a field that had a fence penning us in. We were standing facing away from the men and they were killing people one by one. I was just standing there knowing I was going to die, it was horrible.

I always wake up before my alarm if I know I have to get up.

I've had some disturbing ones too. I had a dream where I died while trying to escape an earth quake. I got caught on fire... I've had some frightening prophetic dreams but i'll not mention them.

Its where alot of deja vou comes from I think, I've had it a few times in the past week. I really think you dream about something, and then you have a similar experience. Deja Vou!!!

I remember a week or two having a dream where Alan Rickman had a guest spot... I only vaguely remember it, but I remember actually thinking IN the dream that Colli would love to hear about this, hehe! For some strange reason, I seem to recall him hiding in a cupboard with an alcoholic beverage and possibly wearing boxer shorts... very strange! Quite funny though! :D

When I was a little kid... I used to get away from it all by removing all the vegetable canned goods from the cupboard and crawling inside. My mother told me when I grew older that I used to take naps there and the first time I did it... she freaked out because she couldn't find me but she must have noticed all of the cans sprawled about the kitchen floor.

I had a dream last night about people on here! I think it was telling to get a life :p It was really weird...

My cousin was getting baptsed (even though he's twelve and he was baptised 12 years ago ;) ) in the run down church down my road. And I didnt want to go, so I got some people together to make a plan so I couldnt go (I think, its not so clear...) and some of the people I got round was Fleur, Xaz (you planned it all out!) and Colli! And I dont know what happened next, its all a blur! But I somehow managed to get out of going to the baptism... Then we all joined a queue with people from my class... This is the clearest bit! It was in a yellow floral hallway, and we were all crammed in. I then saw my form tutor and she said it was a glamour model shoot (page three...) and I was disgusted, I said there was no way I was posing for perverts, but she insisted, saying I should just flash and get out! Then I woke up to the gentle sounds of beeping from my bloody mobile phone...

Does anyone else dream about people on this site or on other sites? Or am I just demented and really need to get a life :p :o

I had a dream last night that (a year and a half in the future) my brother and sister-in-law had a baby, and they let HEIDI (sister-in-law's sister) be the nanny! After they promised me I could! It was so mean of them. :p ;)

I think I might've had a CoE or MI dream before.. but I can't really remember. I know I've had a few dreams with Alan in them. :swoon:

I had a dream with you in it once Fleur, I think I told you about it, we were on the Palace Pier and we jumped off the end and held on to a buoy for dear life!

I've had prophetic dreams. I've heard that it's quite common for teenagers, something to do with those blasted hormones no doubt. I drempt about meeting someone I hadn't seen for three years and the next day I saw them in Sainsbury's! Some other small things like that.. sometimes i go to a place I've never been before and I know where things are without having to ask, and I get the feeling I had been there in a dream. Anyone else had that?

I hate not being able to do things in dreams. Most times I can wake myself up if it's really bad - I sort of think to myself 'I've had enough of this'

Apparently you dream about 6 or 7 times a night but you only remembe it if you wake up during it. Strange to think that I've experienced loads of dreams that I can't even try to remember.

Now all we have to dream about is being naked in class without our homework. It's kind of the 'kitchen sink' of dreams, we dream about everything including the 'kitchen sink' ;) LOL, bit of a dull play on words for ya.

I have been having the oddest dreams lately, but i cant remember what i dreamt about after I wake up. I sit here in my pajamas and i cant remember much about what I've dreamt this morning or last night. shrugg

I always find it strange how people are portrayed in dreams too. Like, there might be a snake on the floor, but you know the snake is your friend, that it has all the feelings of your friend. Or they might have a completely different body, but you still know who they are. hmmm

Wow, lucky me, getting to hang out with the Fleurs and Colli! I hope we did something fun, though the fact that I organised it is a bit of a concern, hmm... :LOL:

I'd ask you what I looked and sounded like cos it would interesting to see what you said, but I doubt that you would remember anyways. I think it's very cool I made a dream though! :)

I've dreamt about people online here, I think... though not in the way you have, FleurD, I don't think my imagination is good enough, LOL! *sigh* Usually, if I do, the dream consists of me sitting at a computer and talking to someone else THROUGH the computer: my mind can't seem to bring pictures to life or something. I do wish I had a more interesting subconscious sometimes.... :)

Last night I dreamed my Music teacher told me I had failed my music GCSE! And then he went on and on about how amazing Lucy (this girl in my class) did and then she sang this song with the voice of an absolute star and I played the chords all wrong and everyone laughed at me.... I'm hoping this doesn't come true so much!

I have very visual dreams, it's just the memory thats bad :lol: Well you had a light blue short sleeved teeshirt (that said something like "Vintage" or "9" on it) over a dark blue teeshirt with long sleeves, and you had sorta spikey dark brown hair! Very weird!

Oh dear Fleur! I'm sure you did fine! :D I'll be having nightmares about the maths exam tomorrow afternoon though....

yeah... I sit in bed (on non exam days) and day dream to what could have happened in the dream! haha, its not the same though!

I had a really random dream last night... I was having a lurid affair with someone, male, female! I dont know! but my parents didnt approve, so I ran off with my lover, but she/he brought me back, in a fishing net! I was wearing flouresent pink fishnet tights, floresent yellow pumps, and a white haute couture gown! Well, I was so distaugt over been taken back to my parents, I collapsed in the fishing net and was all floppy. I was then dragged into my parents car, and whilst lying down on the car seat I saw an alien space craft in the hair (not yer typical space ship I'll have you know ;) it was silver with two little compartments! joined together with tinsel!) and I got scared and started to look for batteries! then I got scared, so I woke up :p

:( I know.. he lost by like .7 of a percentage. But that's ok.. he had a single come out Tuesday and his record is being released in December, on the same day as Ruben's. So basically, he's going to be just as successful (if not more so) as Ruben without having the lame tv show title following him around. :)

I had a dream invovling the muggle threads actually, it was christmas break and I was speaking to one of you through private chat, and I discvoered though didnt live far away at all! I was very excited, and it was a boy...maybe it was Xaz...I cant quite recall. But I get my sister to drive me there, theres snow on the ground and I'm very excited. I even passed his school on the way. Well we get there and he isnt home, but then a van drives up and this tall, skinny buy with bucked teeth, freckles, bottle cap glasses and red hair jumps out. And he wheezed as well, well it was very offputting and he didnt want to talk about HP, he wanted to show me around his house...and to meet his mom and siblings...actually he was very odd. Then it turns out he was buidling something in his basement, which might have invovled biotechnology :rolleyes: anyway I ran out of the house and to my sisters car and drove off. It was like a bad blind date going downhill, only it wasnt a date.

but I had lots of junkfood and cake before I went to bed

I had a dream last night, where my and my friends were going to be turned to ants, and my dad was trying to save us, but he kept on getting caught, so it was up to us to escape this place for turning people into ants...

So, we somehow ended up in a garden face to face with Draco Malfoy, and a big hole in the ground... We had to kill him to get to the other side... It was all to weird... First Harry Potter themed dream in months though!

I owned a pub and shoe shop all in one, and it came with an old red Route Master (which London Transport are taking away!!!) and I had to run errands in my lovely new shoes (yes... My first delivery was to a masked man, who was Xaz, and the second was to someone else on here, cant remember, I think it was either Chinia and Colli... Also wearing a mask... But this time a white mask, and I crashed my big red bus into their house!! Then I woke up...

Alas, tis true, I don't have red hair: I don't think it would look that good on me, really! Still, you never know... as is well publicised, red hair is my favourite on women, so I'm with you with the swooning thing! :swoon:

Ah, like red haired women? Then you should watch Moulin Rouge, Nicole's hair is red, and not frizzy like it was at the Golden Globes and Oscars (get some sereum!)

I actually watched Moulin Rouge last night... Best film ever :D

My shoes are no longer wonderful... I actually wore then out... I'm covered in horrible blisters... *hisses*

A keg of beer or plastic beads eh? Hehe, dreams are interesting just for crazy things the mind can think up. :)
I keep having kinda secret agent dreams... last one I remember I tackled somebody who I think had a weapon, and then I think there were some people after me, and this girl led me into a secret restuarant kinda thing which turned out to be in the back of a truck, LOL! Crazy subconscious eh? I think I knew the girl from somewhere, but I don't know where.. pretty sure she didn't have red hair though. :)


Oooh, Nicole Kidman... she's definitely foxy! Maybe I should see the movie, one of these days. :) :D

I've had dreams like that before Xaz, but they took place in gothum city kinda places. It was a big mix in of the Matrix, with the long black coats, vinyl pants, and the powers to fly. Some pretty awesome fight scenes the mind can make up. I remember this one I had about a year ago, I was in a room with all these gangster bad guys. With a long meeting table, where we were all sitting. Aparently it wasn't going well and the guns came out, and I was taken hostage. Well my partner (or i think he was my partner) came through the glass window in the ceiling and down onto the table to cover my... posterior ;)
