Don't forget to wear your black armbands.
And pass the word.

Do you really think we're only going to have to wait a year?

ya, three years is a long time, but i'll bet it'll take that long to produce book 6. i have conflicting sources who say that either rowling has everything written down already, handwritten in notebooks and locked shut in a safe _ up to book 7. and then i have other sources who tell me that she has just the gist of everything till book 7 already written down, but has yet to add exposition, dialogue and narration.
but if reports about her being and perfectionist are to be believed, then ya, imma give her 3 years and then some, coz now she has the movies, speaking tours, fans, corporations (who prolly dish out merchandise among other things) and everything to deal with now. ...

I think as far as I know she has the outlines of Volumes 6 and 7. This is a reason why it took her so long to write Volume 5, she was constantly thinking about volumes 6 and 7.
Maybe she will manage in a year.

Well if she needs another three years or longer, then thats how long I'll wait. I dont something rushed, thrown together in a year or so.
I waited three years, and it was worth the wait.
Besides, it gives us time to delve into book five. Like we have the past three years over book four

Really if she did do it in a year, then woe to use cuz we would be just losing two years of anyalisys of five
but if she can do her best in a year, bring it on!

Today is 21 June 2004.
No definite word on Book 6, although JKR says she's going at it furiously.
PoA-M is out, and has been very well regarded by most reviewers.
GoF-M is currently underway, and slated for release next year.
He's been gone a year. Black armbands and moments of silence all round.

Can't believe it's been a year... It's gone so quickly...
Still can't believe she killed him...

Happy Anniversary, everyone.
I hope that the 6th book comes out next year, too; sometime in the summer as usual. I'm pretty sure that she has everything generally mapped out all the way to the last book, and she's known what's going to happen for years and years, she just had to take the trouble to write it all down.
I think the long wait in between the 4th and 5th books was because her publishers were pushing her and pushing her with the 4th one, and she needed a nice long break.....which she got. Getting married and having her child and having to deal with all the movies also took up a lot of her time, so I'm doubting (hoping hoping hoping) that it's only going to be another year or so.
A moment of silence for my love
  Padfood
This time a year ago I started fearing for your safety
