I work for a student accomodation here in England and the owner of the company has decided to give Harry Potter names to the differant student accomodation blocks.......

There are two differant buildings, one with three blocks and one that is currently being built that will have five....

The CO is currently thinking of POTTER, GRYFFINDOR and HUFFLEPUFF for the current building and needs names for the other five in the new building.

It has fallen to me (wonder why) to come up with more names and after asking "why POTTER?" i`m stuck!

I was thinking of maybe names of schools?.... or names of characters?

HELP!!!!!

so,

BUILDING ONE:

Block A: POTTER (i need to convince him to reconsider....)
Block B: HUFFLEPUFF
Block C: GRYFFINDOR

BUILDING TWO:

Block A: ?
Block B: ?
Block C: ?
Block D: ?
Block E: ?

ps. the CO thinks that the first should be called POTTER so that the students know what it is all about.

I would be brilliant if we could use GRYFFINDOR, HUFFLEPUFF & RAVENCLAW for building one and the names of five schools for the five in building two, but are there five schools and if so what are their names?

how come no Slytherin?! being "cunning and ambitious" doesn't necessarily have to be a negative characteristic ;)

the only other schools that we know so far are Beauxbatons and Durmstrang.

these are pretty nifty, i think:

Queerditch Marsh
Godric's Hollow
Crookshanks
Wizengamot
Diagon Alley
Knockturn Alley
Shrieking Shack
Honeydukes
Hogsmeade

Yes, Hogsmeade is a good one.
Oh! What about Hog's Head?
a bit blunt, but fun all the same
:p

I agree with Mirdan... Whatever happened to Ravenclaw and Slytherin? And Honeydukes would be a lovely name for housing block. Sounds so sweet and sugary....

Hm... How about naming one Flourish and the one next to it Blotts? lol, or not....
