It has to be OotP for the simple reason of the ending. :)

I LOVE PoA, but OotP comes in as a close second...

PoA. Books 4 and 5 were good, but PoA still edges them out. Why? I dunno, really, except perhaps because of the introduction of my two favorite characters: Sirius and Remus.:D

('Course, OOTP has some really good points too, like Ginny's personality developments and the introduction of Luna Lovegood.)

Prisoner of Azkaban.

I think that it has the most original plot line. They all kept me on my toes, but PoA had the most surprises in stall. I love the time theme... :) And I didn't see the Animagi coming, either.

Very neat.

I'm not really sure why, but I've always been rather fond of the second book, Chamber of Secrets! Hehe, yes, I remember a lot of you saying that you thought it was the worst one, don't worry, but I've still always liked it, maybe I find it a bit more amusing than the other ones or something. :)

A lot of people seem to be voting for PoA, I notice, not surprisingly! I think maybe why I'm NOT casting a vote for that one is because it was the first one I read. I hadn't read the Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets beforehand, so I guess the plot twists and the story structure didn't seem as surprising to me as they might have to other people! Maybe I should re-read them all and then decide which one I like the best, but for now I'm voting for Chamber of Secrets which should stir the pot a little! :D

I like PoA because you learn more about Harry's parents and that Voldemort isn't in it. I think if Voldemort was in every book it would be too much.

Not sure why but I like GoF

Possibly because it gives a wider world perspective by introducing the othe wizard schools

Order of the Phoenix simply because of the length, constant change of setting, complex story, unanswered questions, luna lovegood (that chick owns) and so much more.

Plus, every time I reach the end my OotP CD's, it's almost like a new story when I start them all over. The length definitely gives OotP a major boost, in my opinion.
