Invisibility cloaks could be a reality soon

Two electronics engineers claim to have brought a working cloaking device a step closer to reality after announcing proposals for a "shield" that makes objects disappear by reducing the light scattered from them.

Quite amazing, don't you think? First Omnioculars (http://www.muggleinformer.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3848), now invisibility cloaks, whatever will be next?? Fellow MIers, it's starting to look like JKR is some kind of prophet, wouldn't you say? Well, okay, maybe you wouldn't say, but it sure is freaky! ;) :)
