Feminist Sci-Fi critic to talk on women in fantasy stories

Dr. Marleen S. Barr brings her unique expertise on feminism and science fiction to The Witching Hour, a Harry Potter symposium Oct. 6-10 in Salem, Massachusetts. Barr has said she has great respect for the Harry Potter novels and their role in shaping the reading habits of a generation.
