I have a few questions:

What if I don't want to say what gender I am? You said gender was optional but I can't not choose one or the other. It should say: Guy or Girl or undisclosed. I think it's dangerous especially for girls.

What exactly is Spam?

Why is it that when I try to use a smiley that the smiley comes up but so does all the writing that makes it what it is? There is no "close all tags" button.:)

It shouldn't be necessary to specify your gender. I don't think I ever did but I registered a long time ago and maybe things have changed?

Spamming is posting without much point, or advertising yourself or something you do. This also includes posting intentionally (and far) off topic.

Most of our smileys don't have tags; most are something like :_) or :rolleyes_: without the _. Not sure what a "close all tags" button does. And we don't have a spell check that I've ever seen.:)
